SCHOLARSHIPS

2020 OCSL Scholarship
OCSL is offering two scholarships to honor and aid college bound female soccer players.  We are now accepting applications through March 31, 2020.  The amount of  the scholarships are $750 and $1,500.

Scholarship Application Requirements

  • Current B average or better and have graduated by August  1, 2020

  • Played JV or Varsity soccer in High School for one season

  • Plan on attending a School of Higher Education

  • Current resident of Orange County

  • List all community service groups

  • Copy of High School transcripts, copy of application clearly identifying intended college 
    OR acceptance letters and two letters of recommendation from either a coach or teacher.

  • Student must submit a 250 word essay on the following:


Name a specific personal quality/characteristic that soccer has helped build - i.e.respect,responsibility, etc - and why you deserve the scholarship.  Essays must be double spaced.

Maegan Allspach graduate of  Goshen High School.  She will be attending Misericordia University.
Francesca Micallef from Warwick High School.  She will be attending University of New Haven.

2018 Awards

Aryana Martin graduate of The Storm King School.  She will be attending Emmanual College.
Reaghan Duval from Goshen High School.  She will be attending Campbell University.

2017 Awards

Alexandra Steinberg graduate of Chester Academy High School.  She will be attending Mount Saint Mary College.
Emilia Knecht from S.S. Seward High School.  She will be attending University at Binghamton.

 

2016 Awards

Kacie Borisewich graduate of Goshen High School.  She will be attending University at Buffalo.
Monisha Hayles gradute of Storm King School.  She will be attending Bryn Mawr College.

2015 Awards

Abigail Bodeker graduate of Warwick High School.  She will be attending SUNY Binghamton.
Erin Leahey graduate of Warwick High School.  She will be attending SUNY Binghamton.

2014 Awards

Lindsay Clifford graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School.  She will be attending the University of Scranton.
Erin Lapolla graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School.  She will be attending SUNY Oneonta.

2013 Awards

Andrea Mancuso graduate of Cornwall High School.  She will be attending Stonehill University.
Samantha Ayers graduate of Minisink High School.  She will be attending SUNY Brockport.

2012 Awards

Leanna Dinh of Monroe, NY.  Attending the Culinary Institute of America.
